When you’re signed in to your MATCHFIT® Account, we store your user name, password, email, resume and search favorites to name a few that is tied to your account so the, application, or device you’re using can identify and retrieve your password if needed or return relevant results based on your chosen search factors. This helps us do things like maintain your preferences across your personal sessions.
When you’re signed in, we also collect information that we store with your Account, which we treat as personal information. When you create a MATCHFIT® Account, you provide us with personal information that includes your name and a password. You can also add a phone number, physical address, grades, test scores and, other information you want to provide to help us guide you to collegiate opportunities.
We also use your information to ensure our services are working as intended, or troubleshooting issues that you report. We use data for analytics and measurement to understand how our services are used. For example, we analyze data about your visits to our sites to do things like optimize product design. We use information we collect, like your email address, to interact with you directly. For example, we may send you a notification if we detect suspicious activity, related to your Account or we may let you know about upcoming changes or improvements to our services.
We use information to help improve the safety and reliability of our services. This includes providing you with customized search results detecting, preventing, and responding to abuse, security risks, and technical issues that could adversely affect MATCHFIT® users. We use different technologies to process your information and we use automated systems to analyze customized search results.
